The day dedicated to celebrating Shea and Scott, started with a beautiful ceremony at the Oasis Conference Centre.

Amidst lace cloth, pearl necklaces, soft pink roses and lit candles for decoration, the fathers of the beautiful bride walked their daughter down the aisle. The bridesmaids in black, alongside the groomsmen helped set for a special occasion. The silk white cake centered in the back, alongside a green, white and pink rose bouquet on the tables and clothed chairs made a beautiful Elizabethan decor. As the dinner was served, family and friends enjoyed the slideshow of the newlyweds early years and their time together. The food for the evening included assorted salads, roasted potatoes and vegetables, chicken breasts, perogies and roast beef, followed by assorted desserts including a tasty chocolate trifle.

After dinner, the speeches showcased the love that Shea and Scott have for each other and that they are true soul mates. The last of the speeches from the MC of the night included a line, “It has been true love from the beginning. It’s going to last,” and everyone in attendance was in agreement. Finishing the beautiful evening was the dance which made for many special memories. Other memorable moments included the security ‘blankey’ that belonged to the bride as a child which was given back to her during her mother and father’s speech, and the beautiful prayer said by uncle John before dinner. Lastly, the kissing jar full of Canadian tire money was quite humorous, and everyone enjoyed the champagne with raspberries distributed to all the guests after the ceremony.
