One hour NE of Edmonton, Flashworks had the good fortune to attend the annual Smoky Lake Great White North Pumpkin Fair .

Flashworks Photobooth really enjoyed themselves at this year’s 27th Annual Smoky Lake PGreat White North Pumpkin Fair held on the grounds around the Smoky Lake Complex and Hall Facility. All around families and friends were having a great time with the wide assortment of fun things to do. Inside the complex we set up our Enbridge sponsored photobooth in the Enbridge Kids Zone right next to the balloon artist and our face painting friend, Lady Dolphin. Live music played on stage, while in the hockey arena, the official pumpkin weigh-ins were taking place. Outside, guests could sample the fare at the variety of food trucks, have a go at the dozen or so carnival rides, play with the animals at the petting zoo, and experience the farmer’s market. There was also a threshing demonstration and shuttle into town for the Show ‘n Shine.

When everything was said and done, the winning gourd tipped the scales at 1470.5 lbs while the 50/50 draw awarded one lucky winner $2500. And of course, who could forget about the much anticipated pumpkin drop?
