It was our second time at Lakeland Ridge Junior High and the Grade 9 graduates had an absolute blast this year!

The night began with a familiar grand assembly in the school gymnasium. The formal program followed the grand march and consisted of speeches, academic awards, and a grad video containing memories of their Junior High experience.

Next to the large gym, a smaller gymnasium played host to a snack bar area for after-assembly socializing. Tables were set up to a resemble buffet style desert bar, where both students and teachers enjoyed platters of delicious fresh fruit, cupcakes, fruit punch, and even chocolate covered strawberries.

The theme for this year’s graduation was “Hollywood”. The decorations all depicted Hollywood in some way, such as a vintage camera roll covering the walls with photos of the graduates.

Speaking of photos, students took a lot of them at the Flashworks Photobooth. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves and each other as they dressed in the various zany props and made funny faces for the camera.

Flashworks would like to congratulate a dynamic group of young individuals on their graduation, and wish them all the best in their high school endeavors. We would like to thank Lakeland Ridge Junior High for inviting us out again this year, and hopefully we’ll back again next year. We, at Flashworks, are definitely looking forward to that!
