A great big congratulations to all of the Royal Glenora Figure Skating Alumni and coaches that came together for this wonderful milestone event.

The gathering was a huge success marking the Royal Glenora Club’s 50th Anniversary. Held in the Empire Ballroom at the Fairmont Hotel Macdonald, the decor was lovely with a delightful spread of beverages, hors d’oeuvres, and beautifully presented desserts.

Guests started to trickle after the amazing Ice Memories show at the Royal Glenora Club. The atmosphere of the evening was very pleasant and laid back, with warm and heart-felt speeches. The feeling was that of a large family reunion as many of those attending hadn’t seen each other for years. It was amusing watching the coaches trying to recall and recognize their previous students whom have all grown up and matured.

We had a great time listening to the stories of years past and interacting with the alumni such as Kurt Browning and Jamie Salé who gave the booth a try. Thank you to the organizers of this great event for all your hard work. We’re glad we could step in at the last minute to offer our services for such a phenomenal occasion.
