Victoria and Ryan had a beautiful reception at the DOW Centennial Centre in Fort Saskatchewan and Flashworks Photobooth was fortunate enough to be included in their festivities.
The atmosphere within the Lions Mane room was fun and energetic as family and friends came together to celebrate Victoria and Ryan’s union. The guestbook table at the entrance to the hall was decorated with numerous black and white photos in gray frames which were surrounded by candles and coffee beans. This same motif was evident in the centerpieces of the guest tables as a smaller B&W photo frame was placed on large square mirror. Sharing this space were also two tea light candles and a candle in a frosted medium-sized vase with the words, “faith,” “love,” “charity,” and “hope” upon it. Sprinkled around this were coffee beans and small wrapped chocolates. And around the table, each chair was covered with a shimmering brown cover tied in a knot along the back.
Across from the dance floor stood the elegant three-tiered wedding cake. The base of each tier featured a brown ribbon, while a graceful cascade of white icing flowed down corner of the cake. The cake table was framed by a tall arch covered in white tulle and delicately lit with white mini-lights.
Many out of town guests were present at the wedding traveling from far away destinations such as Montreal, BC, Saskatchewan and Calgary. It was also nice to see how many of Victoria’s coworkers from the Sawmill help to cater and make the reception a success.
The MC did a great job for informing the guests of the flow of events during the evening and the speeches were quite humourous and entertaining. The groomsmen’s speech to the groom especially elicited roars of laughter from the audience as it turned into a bit of a roast complete with nicknames and anecdotes. Victoria’s brother’s speech was equally delightful complete with funny stories stories from their childhood. Ryan even managed to get the last word in after exacting a small measure of revenge on his earlier deriders.
After Victoria and Ryan’s first dance to Shawn McDonalds “Gravity,” the DJs from Revolution DJ Services played a high energy mix of tracks that kept the dance floor full throughout the evening. And of course, the guests loved the Flashworks Photobooth and had a great time posing and experimenting with all of our different props.
Victoria and Ryan, congratulations on a beautiful wedding! Flashworks Photobooth would like to wish the both of you all of the very best as you begin your journey together as husband and wife.
