The Rohit Group definitely knows how to throw a party Christmas party for the children and the young at heart!

This year’s 3rd annual holiday brunch was once again held at the Oasis Conference Centre in West Edmonton. This elegant venue was beautifully prepared for the occasion with tables decorated by white, pink and red poinsettias centerpieces, and by a few stylish tealights. A beautiful Christmas tree topped with a bright red bow stood center-stage set against gold curtains and backlit with red and green wall washes. At its base sat dozens of meticulously wrapped presents.

This brunch was definitely for the kids. In addition to our photobooth, a large “jumpy thing” castle occupied a good portion of the hall, Noel Bundy was on hand creating amazing balloon animals, and Oasis Animal Faces (780.488.0265) had colourful faces running about for most of the afternoon.

Elizabethan Catering provided a very tasty and expansive brunch with a wide assortment of desserts and juices, while the Oasis provided a variety of hot beverages for the adults.

Guests could enter a draw for a large basket brimming with chocolates and other sweets and there was also a box set aside for those willing to donate to Santa’s Anonymous and The Christmas Bureau of Edmonton.

However, the highlight of the afternoon was a surprise visit by a special guest – Santa! He arrived to the sounds of sleigh bells and made his way to the stage where he addressed all the good boys and girls. Each child in attendance was then called up to receive a present and to have their photo taken with the jolly old man in red.

Everyone at the brunch thoroughly enjoyed themselves and left the Oasis with a smile. Thanks to all the organizers for putting on such a fun and memorable afternoon and thanks for including us!
