Best wishes to the newly wedded couple, Sam and Shawn! Thank-you so much for asking Flashworks Photobooth to be a part of your special day at the Hotel Macdonald!

Sam and Shawn had an elegant black and white wedding. The hall was beautifully decorated with white silk table cloths and the chairs were covered and tied with a bow with white silk, as well. On every table was a beautiful arrangement of white roses and babies breath surrounded by green leaves. The bridal party also continued with this theme. The bridesmaids in black dresses all looked very elegant, and the handsome groomsmen in the traditional black and white suits with vests and bow ties. Although, black and white was the name of the game, orange and blue was the masters of ceremonies color scheme of choice. Going as dumb and dumber dressing in orange and blue suits had everybody giggling. And continuing with the theme, the guests received photobooth prints in colour and black and white strips, and could decide which of those they wanted to put into Sam and Shawn’s photo album.

During the delicious seated dinner and dessert, the guests had the bride and groom kissing all night long but this wasn’t your typical clinking of the glasses, In this case, each kiss was for a cause. In order to get the bride and groom to smooch, the guests had to make a donation to the Stollery Children’s Hospital. At the end of the night, the total of donations that came up was $1,480! Sam and Shawn’s kisses are lifesavers!

The stories and speeches were funny, but also touching and really gave the guests some personal insight into the Sam and Shawn. However, we’re still trying to figure out the turtle song.

After speeches always comes the party, and party is what the bride and groom and their guests did best! The bar, dance floor, and the props in the photobooth were used by everyone! The guests were sad to see us wrap up, however, Sam and Shawn have their album full of strips with which to recount their amazing wedding day!
