Congratulations to Sabrina and Christopher on a fun filled wedding celebration at the Mirage Banquet!
The night started with the bridesmaids and grooms having their own intros to the ‘Hockey Night in Canada’ theme song. With a Stanley Cup wedding cake, tables named after famous hockey players, and beautiful decorations, the bridesmaids and groomsmen in orange and black, led in the new couple.
After speeches and a game of “How well do you know your spouse?” where questions such as “Who starts the arguments?” and “Who said I love you first?” kicked off many more speeches with laughter and compassion. “Chris, learn to be patient, and Sabrina, learn to be patient while Chris tries to be patient” was one line that elicited laughter and smiles.
A delicious dinner of traditional East Indian curry, for example, chickpea curry and naan bread, and also roast beef was followed by assorted fruits and cheesecake. Celebrating the new married couple, a slideshow of each spouse’s childhood was shown including a video of the bride at a young age, showing off some of her dance moves. After a traditional East Indian dance performance from fellow family members, the dance was kicked off by ‘I Gotta Feeling‘ by the Black Eyed Peas.
Congratulations to the new beautiful couple who were surrounded by happy friends and family that did not seem to stop celebrating!
