Valarie and Adrian

It was a special night for Valerie and Adrian, and Flashworks Photobooth was honoured to be a part of it.

When entered into the Imperial Ballroom at the Delta Edmonton South they saw chairs draped in white chair covers, tied together with black bowties. A bouquet of roses rounded out the center of each tables, with the assortment of plates and wine glasses to surround it. As guests took to their seats, they could see an arch of red and white roses situated behind the wedding table itself.

The night kicked off with the bride and groom entering through the front doors, accompanied by the wedding party that followed. The groom was dressed in a stylish suit jacket balanced by a little surprise; the addition of a kilt on the bottom. The bride was outfitted in a dazzling white dress, emblazoned with a red chest piece and a flow of red that was situated on the back.  The groomsmen and bridesmaids also resonated with the red, white and black theme; the men dressed in the white and black, with the bridesmaids filling the tri-color theme in scarlet red dresses. It was as the groom called it, “their family colours”. And so the bridal party came, marching to one of the famous themes from the first trilogy of Star Wars.

A brief introduction of the organizers of this special night led to the feast, followed by the speeches. The formal speeches started up with the classic speech give by the priest from “The Princess Bride” narrating the importance of marriage, which lead into close friends conveying their congratulations for the bride and groom and expressing their memories that led up to this point.  Valarie and Adrian themselves ended off the speeches by thanking key figures in their lives, followed by the cutting of the cake.

A little while later, the first dance as bride and groom commenced, followed by the mother and son/ father and daughter dance that eventually lead into casual dancing on the dance floor. In between breaks, guests enjoyed themselves with the photobooth, accessorizing with a wide selection of goofy props and striking ridiculous poses as the laughter resonated through the room.

Simplicity was at the core of the night, which translates perfectly into the purity of the marriage tradition. Flashworks Photobooth would like to extend our gratitude to Valerie and Adrian, for inviting us to their milestone! We wish them the best in the future!
