Sonic 102.9 celebrated their 8th birthday party with one heck of a night at the Starlite Room!
Doors opened at 8pm and people quickly came in through the side entrance of the building to be greeted by the Flashworks Photobooth complete with a green screen. Guests definitely had a fun time posing and making faces as the night commenced.
Helping us out was Sonic 102.9’s intern army, helping with the line up and also handing out cowbells throughout the night, a nod to on-air host Garner Andrews’ Cowbell Burger that will be at the Delux Burger Bar for the month of April.
The music kicked off with Travis Bretzer (some may know him as Awkward Travis) spinning some tracks, followed by Owls By Nature as a great way to get the crowd pumped up. At about midnight everyone was ready for the main act; a pumped up performance by USS. It was a high energy performance full of jumping and dancing and USS definitely got the crowd involved.
