Flashworks Photobooth was back for the Mom, Pop and Tots Fair at the Edmonton Expo Centre.

We thought that last year’s show was busy, but this year the line-up of excellent vendors, entertainment and special guests Toopy and Binoo, drew an even larger crowd. Of course, everyone who gave our photobooth a try loved it, especially a number smilie-faced babies that were dressed up in wigs, hats and feathers. We believe that we also entertained our youngest photobooth patron yet, a 4 week old beautiful little girl. And more than a few people commented on how they came this year to get a new set of photos to update the ones from last year.

It was quite enjoyable watching all the young families make their way around the show. A lot of youngsters were pulling around floating balloon dogs, pink elephants and T-Rexes, while others busily brandished their colourfully flashing bubble blowers and light swords. It seemed that there was something for everyone, with arts and crafts and building blocks at the Edmonton Catholic Schools area, a petting zoo, pony rides, Tupperware, LED light globes, RESP information, jumpy castles; vendors from every child related category. One fun new vendor that we really liked this year was Miss Maryana’s Parties. Billed as educational entertainment for children’s parties, kids crowded around to watch an enormous dry-ice bubble form and then burst forth with a white, whispy cloud. Very neat.
