The Alberta Diabetes Foundation Hummingbird Gala was an outstanding event! Flashworks Photobooth was honored to be a part of this event once again.

Upon arrival at the Westin Hotel and Conference Centre, the decor was impeccable! The tables and chairs were draped in elegant white cloth, and each chair was adorned with a pretty purple ribbon. Each table was topped with a little treat from Purdy’s Chocolates, and the white candles were an excellent finishing touch. At each cocktail table sat a beautiful orange rose surrounded by more white candles. Guests enjoyed hors d’eouvers and cocktails before a delicious main course, and busy night of auctioning.

The silent and live auctions that night were very successful! The rear portion of the hall was full of donated items for the guests to bid on. Gift certificates, jewelry, Oilers tickets, autographed merchandise, and photography packages are just a few examples of some of the items available. The live auction saw big ticket items like a trip for two to New York City, other vacation getaways, and a side-by-side motor vehicle. The whole night was hosted by a professional auctioneer, who kept the energy high and the crowd roaring with laughter all night long.

Flashworks Photobooth would like to thank the Alberta Diabetes Foundation for letting us be a part of such a meaningful event. We are hopeful that we will see everyone again next year!
