Amanda & Brett

Amanda and Brett’s wedding was full of romance, laughter and little details.

Their special day was held at Edmonton’s Royal Mayfair Golf Club. The bride and groom had their ceremony held in one of the banquet rooms where family and friends gathered to celebrate the special day.  In the main entrance was a table set up with photos of Brett and Amanda and an album for guests to wish the couple luck and give tips of love and marriage from one couple to the next. As guests finished signing, they were to take a little bell from a box for when the bride and groom were to kiss. During the ceremony, the couple chose to perform the Love Letter & Wine Box ceremony. Amanda and Brett wrote letters to each other about what made them fall in love, how they have grown since they had met, and what their hopes and dreams are for the future. The letters were sealed in individual envelopes and they have not seen what the other has written. Should Amanda and Brett ever find their marriage facing hardships, they will open this box, sit and drink the wine together, then read the letters they wrote to one another to be reminded of the reasons why they are together. The hope is, however, that Amanda and Brett will never have a reason to open this box. And if this is the case, they are to open this box to share and enjoy on their 10th year wedding anniversary. When the bride and groom were pronounced “man and wife” everyone rang their bells as they shared their first kiss as a married couple. The moment was magical! The bridesmaids were wearing black satin, mermaid style dresses with a sweetheart neckline. The groomsmen wore black tuxedos with cream colored vests accented with calla lily boutonnieres. In the main dance hall, 4 tables were set up with black table cloths. Decorating them, square vases with coral colored roses, violet Mokara flowers and light green leaves. Under the vase were three tea light candles. The centerpieces included flower bouquets in tall vases with crystal-like beads hanging off the edge. The bouquets were made out of bright, fluffy fuchsia dahlias, mixed with more exotic flowers; Mokara, phalenopis orchids and celosia. Every family and couple received a photo on a mini canvas picture frame of the bride and groom, along with a thank-you note on the photo!

As people mingled for cocktails, appetizers and hors d’oeuvres, they snapped some photos in the photobooth and placed their photos in the album for the bride and groom to see how much fun they had at their wedding! A delicious seated dinner was served; a roasted garlic tomato soup with a fresh Caesar salad. The main course included chicken cordon bleu, mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables. To save the best for last, the ice cream bar with bowls of candy, fruits and sauces was the perfect desert ever!  As people ate, family and friends came up and shared stories, gave helpful advice and let the bride and groom knew how special they were to them. When the formal program came to an end, Revolution Entertainment had turned the slow music down and the fast music up! Flashworks was expecting the regular mix, some oldies some new music, but this crowd really surprised us! A country lovers wedding it was! Everyone had put on their invisible cowboy boots and joined in on line dances, stomped a lot and did a little dosie-do! Amanda and Brett had provided some of their own props as well as our collection of funny props, and doubling the props means more sillyness, laughs, and dressing up for the Photobooth! We loved seeing everyone get in the photobooth and just let loose!

Amanda and Brett had a wonderful night, the guests had a blast and Flashworks Photobooth would love to thank-you for letting us be a part of your special day! Congratulations!
