This cozy wedding held at the Yellowhead Brewery was intimate and full of love and family.
Candice’s cousin did a remarkable job with the decor, coming in earlier that day to decorate the space with beautiful orchids, lightly lit centerpieces and modern white & purple lanterns. Every table was set with a long purple center cloth, a vase decorated with little lights holding sparkling branches accented with purple and white orchids. Each centerpiece also included black and white photos of Candice and Alain for people to enjoy and see their adventures together.
The family served dinner was to die for! Catered by Culina, the garlic Caesar salad and zesty Greek salad was a great teaser to the delicious entrees which consisted of spicy Spanish rice with Cajun chicken with a cream sauce, or, a tender steak with roasted seasonal vegetables. There was a desert table set up right next to the our booth tempting guests with bite size cheesecake squares, the fresh cut fruits, and homemade cupcakes which were amazingly decorated by Candice’s mother. As guests filled their tummies up with tasty treats, bridesmaids, groomsmen, family, and friends came up to the podium to give marital advice, to tell stories of how much Candice and Alain have brightened up their lives, and most of all to let them know how much they love them. Everyone was ready to party when the last words were being spoken.
It was time to call up on the bride and groom to share their first dance together. Candice and Alain chose the Rascal Flatts song, “Bless the Broken Road” as their first dance song. After that slow song, the DJ kept the beats fast and kept the crowd moving. Only reason to leave the dance floor was to put on some silly hats and masks and snap some shots in the Flashworks photobooth!
We had a great time celebrating this special day with Candice and Alain, and all of their friends! So here’s to love, laughter and to happily ever after.
