Vanessa and Brian held a beautiful wedding reception at the Marriott River Cree.

Guests entered the ballroom under a white sheer arch with a red bow on each side and a few red roses lined across the top. To the right was a table with scattered red and white rose pedals, several candles and a photo book where the guests had a chance to leave their well wishes for the couple. An itinerary for the evening and a decorative box for cards was also placed there. The other tables within the River Cree ballroom where draped in black with a small vase in the centre which was filled with water and in which a solitary red rose and tea light bobbed. Several other tea light candles in red votives surrounded this vase and lit the room with a romantic glow. A red bow and sash decorated the backs of white covered chairs around the room. Up at the front, hanging lights decorated with red fabric accented the head table and this same motif continued with more decorative lights and twisted red fabric hanging a top the backdrop. On each side of the long head table, vases filled with roses were up for grabs for guests to take home with them at the end of the night.

The program consisted of speeches after dinner and the ever popular shoe game with the bride and groom. Everybody’s eyes were on the couple while they shared their intimate first dance, and afterward everybody joining them on the dance floor thanks to the DJ who did an excellent job of entertaining. Guest enjoyed the dessert bar that was filled with cakes, strawberry pancetta, black forest martini cakes and more! They also got to enjoy one of Grandma Taylor’s special recipe treat to take home.

Everybody had a great time using the photo booth, with guests constantly returning all night more additional mementos of the special night.
