Flashworks Photobooth would like to thank Canadian Western Bank for having us be a part of their 2012 staff Christmas party!

Guests arrived to a beautifully decorated room: stunning poinsettia centerpieces on each table surrounded by glowing tea light candles, gorgeous ice sculptures of snowflakes lit with colourful lamps of red, blue and yellow and the entire room a glow with red and yellow lights on the walls. So gorgeous and festive! The holiday ambiance was also enhanced with elegant instrumental Christmas music playing in the background while guests arrived and chatted before the supper began.

For dinner, the guests indulged in a scrumptious meal! Several salads, mashed potatoes, perogies, tortellini, steamed vegetables, turkey and gravy lined the buffet tables. There was no shortage of selection! Guests also enjoyed tasty desserts as the evening went on. What a delicious meal it was.

Following the meal, the program for the evening continued. Several members of the Canadian Western Bank families were recognized for their 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 years of service to the company. In addition, a warm speech was given by the current CEO of Canadian Western Bank as it was announced that this will be his last Christmas party as a staff member. Following his speech, he was thanked with a standing ovation and a great round of applause. Best of luck to the new CEO!

Gifts and door prizes were also given out at the party. Door prizes included Oil Kings hockey tickets, a CWB blanket, two prizes at the Delta Hotel for a 1 night stay, Visa gift cards of various denominations, a blue ray DVD player, and a Hoover vacuum donated by the Brick. The beautiful poinsettia centerpieces were also given away! At each table, there was a sticker on the bottom of the saucer plate for each guest. The guest who had the sticker under their saucer plate was the lucky winner who got to take home the poinsettia. Many cheers were heard as each guest discovered that they were in fact the winner of the poinsettia.

After the program for the evening, the live band ‘Top Tones” came out on stage and had people moving all night! The Top Tones are a band who play classics from the last 5 decades. They sure know how to get people dancing! Guests seemed to really enjoy all of the great tunes.

In addition to all of the fun at the Christmas party, guests also loved the photobooth! The line up was constant and guests were eager to take pictures with their dates and fellow colleagues. Many of them enjoyed getting dressed up with the props from the prop box and returned to take more pictures throughout the night. It was truly quite an affair for their 2012 Christmas party.
