Cheryl’s surprise 50th Bithday party was sure to leave you tickled pink! On a perfect sunny day the Drawing Room within the Fairmont Hotel Macdonald was awash in a palette of soft corals, blushes, and whites, accented by shades of green. As guests entered the room they were in awe of the remarkable of a job FaBLOOMosity had done at making the whole place look spectacular.

In the center of each table stood a tall vase filled with green apples, topped by a silver lampshade and coral peonies. Surrounding the center vase were 5 petite glass vessels filled with coral roses, white peonies, green hydrangeas and coral peonies. Spread amongst the vases were floating tealights which added to the intimate atmosphere. Everyone was so amazed by the incredible flowers, and luckily, they got to take the the flowers home with them!

As the family and friends gathered, they mingled over drinks and tasty little appetizers, while off to the side, a gentleman with an acoustic guitar played all of Cheryl’s favorite songs throughout the night for the guests and Cheryl to enjoy. Surprise time was imminent when Brook received the text that her mother and father were on their way! Cheryl was under the impression that she was just going for a small family dinner, little did she know this extravagent evening was all planned out for her. As the blindfold was taken on, the look on Cheryl’s face was filled with excitement and awe and you could tell that she was blown away! The room quickly filled with pure bliss and smiles.

Until that point, a slideshow prepared by the lovely Brooke, composed of photos from Cheryl’s youth until present day, was being played. When Cheryl had noticed a photo that had a great story behind it she would reveal the story for all the guests to hear.

For dinner guests had a choice of salmon and cream, stuffed chicken or AAA Alberta Beef Tenderloin, all with the side of a spinach salad and strawberries, lightly sprinkled with pecans and drizzled with orange vinagrette. A short time after everyone had sang Happy Birthday to the birthday girl, Cheryl cut her specially made cheesecake and posed for a photo with the guests aws they came up for a slice of cake.

When everyone had finished eating, Cheryl had a blast opening up all her presents! Some favorites were the Limited Edition Chanel purse that her children had bought for her from England! To match her new purse, a new pair of Chanel sunglasses completed Charyl’s summer wardrobe.

Prior to leaving, Cheryl had requested everyone to take a photo with her in the photobooth! As the night progressed so did the use of props! Cheryl had everyone giggling and smiling throughout all the photos.

Thank-you Brooke for knowing your mom so well and knowing that she would absolutely adore the photobooth! Cheryl, congratulations on your special day and here’s to fifty more!
