It was a glorious evening as numerous family and friends gathered at Cha for Tea Palace in Edmonton to celebrate Cindy and David’s special day.

Purple paper lanterns hung from about the head table that was draped with a soft white canopy. Purple orchids in tall crystal vases rested as a centerpeice on each table. The rich deep purple, silver and white theme adorned the tables as everyone took their seats to enjoy an evening of reminiscing and looking back at how this lovely couple met and became one. As family and friends stepped up to the podium to regale their stories of how the beautiful bride and groom touched their lives. While course after course of food was brought out to be enjoyed, it was clear that the young couple truly touched the lives of everyone in the room. A video of photos of the couple was displayed for all to see on the televisions in the venue. Smiles could be seen on the faces of everyone attending.

A 3 tiered cupcake display ended the evening of food with desert as the couple got up to do the traditional cutting of the cake. Everyone gathered to have photos taken as their own mementos.  It was an evening steeped in tradition, with the David and Cindy changing from their tuxedo and white dress to the traditional red gowns and hats, which was a beautiful thing to see. As they moved from from table to table to greet everyone, they received personal toasts from their guests.

A number of creative professionals were on hand to document the extraordinary day and to make sure that all the important moments were immortalized for years to come. Erik Hornung set up countless beautiful shots while Luke and Ryan from Imago worked their usual videographic magic.
