Held at the Dovercourt Hall just outside of Rocky Mountain House, Larrissa’s and Alex’s wedding and reception was fantastic.
Your hall was absolutely beautiful! Your decorator Cindy did an amazing job implementing your theme of pink, green and silver. When entering the hall guests were able to write their well wishes for Larrissa and Alex on a matte surrounding their photo. The guestbook table featuring this photo was draped with a silver table cloth and pink runner upon which rested a white iron wrought box for cards and photo strips, a vase with a branch decorated by pink flowers and ribbons, and the word “love” surrounded by flowers and a tea light. Down the center of the hall an aisle edged by tea lights and vases of flower decorated twigs was cleared and led to the dance floor and ceremony area. This ceremony corner was elegantly draped in white from floor to ceiling and backed by white mini lights and framed with floral elements and candle highlights. The space before the stage in front of the dj was also illuminated with mini lights behind white drapery flanked by candles in ornate lanterns upon equally ornate columns. In the opposite corner stood Larrissa’s and Alex’s wedding cake atop a cupcake tree loaded with cute little white cupcakes each decorated with a single solitary flower. Each table centerpiece consisted of a bundle of cinnamon-like stalks tied together with silver, pink and green ribbon and placed on a mirror encompassed by tea light candles.
Larrissa and Alex had a beautiful marriage ceremony before all of their friends and family. Following the ceremony they had their first dance amidst the sound of popping champagne bottle corks.
The photo booth was continually busy all evening except at around 10:30pm everyone made their way outside to watch the display of bright and multicoloured fireworks.
After midnight things started to get a little goofy. At one point in the evening some of the groomsmen lost their shirts and a even a mankini made an appearance.
Larrissa and Alex, thanks for inviting us to your wedding! We had a great time entertaining your energetic guests. We’d like to wish you all the very best in your life journey together as husband and wife.
