Congratulations to Linda and Khanh on their wedding day!
Their reception was held at the Cha for Tea Palace and was attended by their closest family and friends. The restaurant was decorated with white drapery and under-lit with orange accent lighting personalizing it for the intimate occasion. Tables were lined with elegant white linen drawing attention to the tall centerpiece bouquets of hydrangeas and pink roses. As guests entered the restaurant, they were encouraged to take a picture with the bride and groom in front of their flower wall composed of fresh hydrangeas and soft pink roses which made the perfect backdrop.
The bilingual introduction of the wedding party in English and Cantonese emphasized the bride and groom’s Chinese heritage. The menu featured a 10-course dinner with traditional dishes such as chow mein, crab, fried rice, and dim sum, to name just a few. As a nod to the groom’s favorite liquor, bottles of Hennessey were on each table and was featured in the open bar.
Next to our Flashworks Photobooth was a decadent dessert table given prominence with a set of “K&L” illuminated letters and a descriptive menu card. Handmade desserts such as pink and white cake pops, lavender macaroons, French madeleines and assorted candy were artistically presented. Near the DJ and the bar, a lounge area with drapery and white couches provided a cozy atmosphere for guests to unwind and relax.
Towards the end of the night, the guests were treated to a congee (soup) bar as a tasty midnight snack, while dancing and drinks from the open bar pervaded the evening. And all through the night, guests enjoyed taking photos and leaving brief 30-second video messages for Linda and Khanh in our Flashworks booth.
Cheers to the newlyweds, Linda and Khanh, and thanks for letting us share your special day!
