The Rotary Club of Parkland After Dark organized an exciting Monte Carlo Casino Night for their members and guests.
The event took place within the new Heritage Park Pavilion which was decorated with long lengths of plush red carpets and bunches of black, red and white balloons. The guest tables alternated with black and white table clothes and seat covers, and featured elegant silver candelabras. The room took on quite a Las Vegas feeling with the scores of blackjack and poker tables, along with a few slot machines for good measure.
Before long, the room was fill of guests that had gathered for an evening of fun. The night started with a delicious meal during which members of the rotary shared a few special words about the club. Afterwards, the guests started showing off their skills at the games of chance, while the band, Mixed Tape, played jazz during the cocktails and dinner and switched over to an 80s theme for the casino. Every couple minutes you could hear the sounds of success as someone beat the odds.
Of course, eventually people made their way to the photobooth. Everyone that went behind the curtains came out with a smile on their face as they all had a good laugh at their photos. Some creative folks took any entire array of props into the booth with them for a costume change in between the photos. For example, we saw people go in the booth as models and come out as transformers. Definitely, lots of memories were made that special night!
We would like to thank the Rotary Club of Parkland After Dark for inviting us to their event. We hope to see you all again soon!
