Friends and family came to surprise Shauna for her 40th birthday.
Held in the clubhouse at the Sturgeon Valley Golf Club, it was an amazing party with gorgeous decor that guests entered via velvet ropes and red carpet. All around the room, white roses, rose petals and candles adorned tables. One such table featured images from Shauna’s past set amongst round rose arrangements on silver candelabras. Candles and jewels also hung from branches and tree-like ornaments around the room, and glass globes hung above the cocktail tables setting a classy atmosphere, topped off by a red fleur-de-lis ice sculpture. As people mingled, appetizers ranging from chicken wings to sushi were served. And for dessert there were cupcakes and a beautiful cake that was covered in roses.
Shauna’s family took time to give some heart warming speeches in honour of her special night. It seems everybody had a great time as Dan and Morgan from Baseline Event Services played various types of music and guest requests, including line dances, a conga line, and even a polka. You could tell by the photo booth pictures that everybody had fun and that it was a night to remember.
